2017 will mark the fifth straight season for Canada’s own P.J. Groenke in the Pirelli World Challenge TCB class. What he is known for, other than being an incredibly fast, consistent racer with the smarts of a veteran is for being one of the hardest working guys in motorsports. His list of partners speaks for itself. This year, Groenke is singled out as the most experienced driver in the TCB’s history and he is back With TechSport racing after a career best 2nd place finish in the points last season. This year he would like to do one better.

“I could not be happier to partner with TechSport Racing for my fifth season in Pirelli World Challenge. They run a first class program from start to finish which allowed me to showcase what I can do behind the wheel resulting in my career best season in 2016.” Says P.J.

Kevin Anderson, Team principal of TechSport Racing, had this to say: “P.J. is probably the nicest guy in the paddock and with his experience and speed he is a driver that any team would be thrilled to have so we are very excited to have him back with us for a second season. We never took his name off the car, it is ready to go just how he likes it and I am sure he will be up front all year. I don’t know where we fit all of his new sponsor stickers but that is a good problem to have”

“I am thrilled to announce that in addition to Verax.ca, Tundra, Cabano’s Comfort Food, Clairhaven Ltd., Martinrea International Inc., Pelto Agri Investments, Ro-Ro Property Management Corp., and Warp Speed Computers Inc., I will be representing Prestone, the “#1 Branded Engine Protection” and Vestacon “Construction Managers & General Contractors” during the 2017 PWC season. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my racing career without my amazing sponsors and cannot thank them enough!”

“The TechSport Racing, Verax.ca, Tundra, Prestone, Cabano’s Comfort Food Chevrolet Sonic was an absolute blast to drive during the 2016 PWC season. I can’t wait to get back in the driver’s seat and attain even better results in 2017!”
