Mazda racers capped off the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge Championship season with five wins during the season finale weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Thanks to amazing customer teams, Mazda earned the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Manufacturers’ Championship.
In 2016, two dozen Mazda racers are expected to challenge for drivers championships in all three of the PWC Touring Car classes with the MX-5 competing in both TC and TCA configurations and the Mazda2 challenging in the TCB class.
Mazda Motorsports boasts the most comprehensive racing development ladder system of any auto manufacturer in the world. The Mazda Road to 24 program offers a number of scholarships to advance drivers up the sports car racing ladder which culminates in the Mazda Prototype team that races in the top level of IMSA sports car racing in North America.
