Jon Miller to make Pirelli World Challenge debut at Circuit of The Americas
The 2013 season brings new challenges and new opportunities for Jon Miller, who will be contesting the full 14 race Touring Car Championship in a Honda Civic Si with Shea Racing. Though he is no stranger to professional sports car racing, having won and stood on the podium multiple times in the Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge competition since 2006. In 2007, Miller was part of the championship winning team and finished fourth in the 2008 Grand Sport Driver Championship. He will make his debut in the Pirelli World Challenge series this weekend during the triple-header race weekend at Circuit of the Americas.   Continued...

Kia Motors America Hosts Kia Racing
After hosting over 250 guests at Round Number 3 of the Pirelli World Challenge at Long Beach presented by Kia, Kia Motors America (KMA) hosted the Kia Racing team at their North American Headquarters in Irvine, CA.  Following a pair of top ten finishes, team drivers, Mark Wilkins and Nic Jonsson, were on hand to showcase the success of the turbocharged Kia Optima racecar.   Continued...

James Sofronas, of Villa Park, Calif., scored an overall and class win in his “hometown” race, taking Round Three of the Pirelli World Challenge at Long Beach Presented by KIA. Lawson Aschenbach, of Jupiter, Fla., took his, and the Blackdog Speed Shop team’s, first GTS-class win. Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mike Skeen, of Charlotte, N.C., finished second and third in GT, respectively.
