Milwaukee, WI – Jeff Courtney will be back behind the wheel of the No. 99 Kenda Tire / RecStuff.com Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 this weekend, September 16-18, for Pirelli World Challenge GTS Rounds 16 and 17 at Sonoma Raceway.

Although struck with a recent run of bad luck, Courtney and the JCR Motorsports team feel well prepared for Sonoma and confident that their Maserati will perform well on the 12-turn, 2.385 mile road course in the picturesque Sonoma Mountains.

“I can’t wait to get back in the car,” said Courtney. “We haven’t been able to show what we’re capable of in terms of race results in the past few rounds due to some contact and bad luck but we are feeling very confident in our Maserati right now. The damage from Mid-Ohio is completely sorted out and our goal is to earn some solid finishes in wine country!”

Events begin on Friday, September 16 with two practice sessions at 8:45 AM CT and 12:30 PM CT. Saturday, September 17 brings qualifying 12:45 PM CT and Round 16 at 4:50 PM CT. The weekend comes to a close with one final race on Sunday, September 18 that goes green at 10:15 AM CT. For more information visit www.world-challenge.com.
