ANSA to Support the B+ Foundation at Sonoma Raceway

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor and remember children and families affected by these rare diseases, and help rally support to give kids with cancer better outcomes by supporting ground-breaking research.

Do you know that 36 children are diagnosed with cancer each day? Each week, 49 children die from cancer and nearly 40,000 children are in treatment. Do you know that less than 4% of federal cancer research funding is dedicated to childhood cancer research? Do you know that there are 12 major types of childhood cancer?

Since 2014, ANSA Motorsports supports The B+ (Be Positive) Foundation, one of the most active childhood cancer foundations. This year ANSA Motorsports’ three KTM X-Bows will display a large B+ logo to promote The B+ Foundation and the fight to eradicate childhood cancers.

“I am pleased to support The B+ Foundation since 2014,” Alain Nadal said. “September is a special month and our team is proud to promote the fight to cure childhood cancers.”

Pirelli World Challenge GTS championship leader Brett Sandberg, Dore Chaponick Jr., and Bill Ziegler will wear a B+ T-shirt to demonstrate their support at the Pirelli World Challenge driver autograph session on Saturday.

“We are thrilled that ANSA Motorsports is continuing to support our fight against childhood cancers,” said Joe McDonough, founder of The B+ Foundation. “ANSA Motorsports is a championship team on the track and they take that same passion for excellence off the track in caring about kids with cancer. They are role models and a first-class organization that we are proud to be associated with.”

The B+ Foundation is about Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer – raising money to provide financial and emotional support to families of children with cancer nationwide. The B+ Foundation also funds critical, cutting-edge childhood cancer research. B+ has provided research grants to institutions such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (TN), Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (MA), Seattle Children’s Hospital (WA), Children’s Oncology Group, and the Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research (DE). With your support, there are children and teens alive today due to research funded in part by The B+ Foundation.
