RealTime Racing’s Enduring Partnership with Honda and Acura is Built on Three Decades of Motorsports Success.
When Peter Cunningham picked up the phone in the winter of ’86, punched in the number he’d found and, as he recalls it, cold called American Honda with a half-formed idea to take a Civic ice racing, little could he know the journey it would take him and his RealTime Racing team on.
Honda said yes to supporting his ice racing foray, and Cunningham – born and raised in Wisconsin, so no stranger to getting it sideways on frozen roads – delivered a championship at the first time of asking.
That led to an enduring and successful relationship with Honda and, notably, its Acura brand which still continues and thrives more than three decades later.
Central to it has been RealTime Racing’s 25-year involvement with World Challenge racing.
