Top Binder, Case Manufacturer to Serve as Presenting Partner in GTS

AUSTIN, Tex. – WC Vision, producers of the Pirelli World Challenge, today announced Case•it, the popular binder, case and accessories company, has partnered with North America’s top GT Production-based road racing series to serve as a series sponsor and the presenting sponsor of the GTS class in 2017.

Case•it, founded over 35 years ago with the advent of the 8-track tape, now produces some of the world’s finest organizers including cutting-edge binders, cases and accessories in the highly-competitive Miscellaneous Manufacturing Industries sector.

Merzon, a second-place finisher in this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona in the PC category, returns to the Pirelli World Challenge this year in the GTS Presented by Case•it class with the No. 017 Case●It Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR beginning with the March 9-12 PWC Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presenting by Cadillac. Merzon will be teaming with Cameron Cassels in a two-car effort for the 11-weekend series. Cassels will drive the No. 18 Case•it Racing Porsche Cayman GT Clubsport MR.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR is one of a variety of sports cars in GTS Presented by Case●It set to do battle for the coveted series point championship. Other GTS machinery will include the Chevrolet Camaro GT4, SIN R1 GT4, KTM Xbow, Ginetta G55, Ford Mustang Boss 302, Panoz Avezzano GT and McLaren 570S GT4.

The GTS Presented by Case●It will feature 50-minute sprint races in doubleheader events throughout the 28th season of the Pirelli World Challenge. All of the 2017 GTS Presented by Case●It races will be televised on a taped-delay basis by CBS Sports Network as well live streaming on www.motortrendondemand.com and www.world-challenge.com.
