Shea is co–owner and driver for Shea Racing, Duchenne muscular dystrophy advocate and graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Marketing. Recipient of the Women’s Sports Foundation, Project Podium Grant. Accomplished competitive water skier. An Audi A4 is her daily driver, favorite food is sushi, favorite TV show is Shark Tank and favorite track is Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Started racing at 16 after participating in the Richard Petty Experience. Has raced in SCCA Club Racing and was the first female alternate for the 2008 SCCA Pro Racing VW TDI Cup. In 2010, entered nine Touring Car races finishing sixth overall. In 2011 competed in five Touring Car races and won first career Pirelli World Challenge race at Long Beach becoming only the 2nd female winner in series history. In 2012, finished 4th in TC Driver’s Championship with a 2nd and a 3rd at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. In 2013, finished 7th overall in TCB Driver’s Championship with a top finish of 4th in Round 5 at Lime Rock. In 2014, started 13 TCA races, recording five wins and finished second overall in the championship. In 2015, started four TCA races recording three top 5’s. In 2016, started 12 TC races recording three top–5s, and and 10 top–10s. Finished 5th in TC driver’s championship.
