Driving Highlights

2015: Started one race in GTS.

Previously: Jon Fogarty joined GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing early in the 2006 season and quickly became a key component in the team's two Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Championships. Fogarty partnered with co-driver Alex Gurney in capturing both the 2007 and 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Series Daytona Prototype Championships and he and the "Red Dragon" team are looking for more success as they enter the Pirelli World Challenge in 2015. GAINSCO, Fogarty and co-driver Gurney scored a series-leading four wins in 2009's Daytona Prototype championship season in addition to a dominating and record-setting run to the 2007 title that saw the team capture victories in half of the year's 14 races. Fogarty's most recent victory came in GAINSCO's home state of Texas at Circuit of The Americas, March 2, 2013. That win was earned from Fogarty's first of two poles in 2013, extending to 25 his record as the all-time Daytona Prototype career pole leader. His run of seven consecutive poles in 2007's championship season also remains a series record. Including his Daytona Prototype titles, Fogarty captured four professional championships in the span of seven years. He also won the 2002 and 2004 Toyota Atlantic Championships and is one of the few drivers in the Pirelli World Challenge who has won multiple professional titles in different racing series. In addition to his campaign with GAINSCO, Jon was recently announced as a co-driver to the Extreme Speed Motorsports Patron entry in the World Endurance Challenge.

Career Highlights: Sixteen career Rolex Series victories, 2007 and 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Co-Champion, All-time Rolex Series Daytona Prototype pole winner with 25, 2008 Rolex 24 At Daytona second-place finisher with Alex Gurney, Jimmie Johnson and Jimmy Vasser. Won seven of 14 races with Gurney in the 2007 season. Co-drove to victory with Gurney in the inaugural sports car race at Circuit of The Americas in 2013. Most Rolex Series consecutive poles in a season with seven in 2007. 2002 and 2004 Toyota Atlantic Champion, 2002 Rookie of the Year.
