Married to television talent Jamie Sellers, and the couple have two children: Son Liam and a daughter due January 2017. Spends much of his time training for competition. Works with several up-and coming drivers as a coach.

Driving Highlights


Started in go karts at age 11, where he finished 2nd in the OVKA point championship and won Rookie of the year. Karted from 1993 to 1999. 1999: Won the Skip Barber Karting Scholarship, Skip Barber Mid-West Region championship, and Rookie of the year. 2000: Second place in the Skip Barber National Championship. 2001: Invited to Team USA to compete in the Formula Palmer Audi Series 2002: Won Formula Ford Zetch Championship. Won USF2000 Championship. Chosen as Team USA Scholarship representative. Chosen as finalist in the Red Bull Driver Search. 2003: Partial season of formula Atlantic Championship as Lynx Racing factory driver. 2004: Full Formula Atlantic Championship for Lynx Racing, finishing sixth. 2005: Sports car debut, earned first career pole in GRAND-AM GT Class. Hired as factory Panoz Motorsports driver in ALMS. Made 24 Hours of Le Mans debut in the Panoz Esperante. 2006-2008: ALMS GT2 competition with BMW Team PTG (2006), ALMS GT2 with PTG Panoz (2007) Lead driver for TRG Porsche in GT (2008). 2009: Became Team Falken Tire Factory driver in ALMS. 2010: ALMS with Team FAlken Tire in GT class. Select GRAND-AM races in CTSCC Porsche Cayman with Magnus Racing and Fall-Line Motorsports. 2011: ALMS with Team Falken Tire. First ALMS win at Mid-Ohio, followed by a win at the Baltimore Grand Prix. Finished second in the Rolex 24 with Paul Miller Racing, and sixth in the Six Hours of the Glen with Magnus Racing. 2012: ALMS with Team Falken Tire. Earned third ALMS career victory at the Grand Prix of Baltimore. Voted Most Popular Driver by the fans. Raced CTSCC GS class with Fall-Line Motorsports. 2013: ALMS with Team Faken Tire. Finished third at Sebring, won Petit Le Mans. Raced CTSCC with Fall-Line Motorsports, earned first victory at Watkins Glen, then at the Brickyard Sports Car Challenge at Indianapolis. 2014: Sixth season with Team Falken Tire, now in TUDOR GTLM class. Won Petit Le Mans with Wolf Henzler and Marco Holzer. 2015: Seventh season with Team Falken Tire. Earned sixth major sports car victory at Six Hours of the Glen. Third place finish at Sebring. 2016: WeatherTech Sports Car Championship with Paul Miller Racing. Won at VIRginia International Raceway.
